Debate against two metroPCS's phones the Samsung Galaxy Attain 4G and the LG Esteem.

Hey Guys! RonTheMaster is here to show a debate show down with the Samsung Galaxy Attain 4G/SCH-R920 and the LG Esteem/LG-MS910. This debate is to show what phone you should buy and get a benefit out of it!

  So lets begin, Well the Samsung Galaxy Atttain 4G can said to be an entry level phone for metroPCS, with is 1GHz Qualcomm Processor and its 3.5" diagonal touch screen. This phone sports a 1.3 megapixel front facing camera with a rear 3.0 megapixel camera with a single flash. This phone is equipped with metroPCS' 4G LTE network which is a plus. This phone is running last year's android platform Gingerbread 2.3. To be exact (2.3.5). It has four hardware buttons with a dedicated camera button which a good thing considering that newer phones coming out do not have that button. This phone is a cousin of the Conquer 4G on the Sprint network, but with different tweaks to it. This phone was announced at CES which is the Consumer Electronics Show, and was said to come out in early February but that was wrong as the phone was placed for availability on the metroPCS' website on Jan.24,2012. The pricing of this phone is at $250.00 with tax. But you can receive an Mail-in rebate of $50 off making it $200.00 plus tax.

This is metroPCS' first android to feature a 4.3" diagonal touch screen. This bad boy comes with android 2.3 Gingerbread. Also first on metroPCS it comes with rear-facing 5.0 megapixel camera with a single flash. This is one of metroPCS' great devices because not only is it big and fast with its 1GHz Qualcomm processor, its a 4G device. So no problem there. It also sports  Gorilla's last generation Gorilla Corning Glass for resistant to scratches and damage. There is so many things so good and beneficial about this phone. This phone records up to 720HD in video recording. It also has a 1.3 megapixel front-facing camera for video chat. How cool is that!? I almost forgot not only can you view your content on this phone' 4.3" screen you can also get an mini-HDMI cord and hook your cord to your TV and view your pictures and videos that you have taken and also watch Netflix which a streaming movie application. Now here is the part which rubs off the wrong way, its price. Its priced right now for $349.99 plus tax with a mail-in rebate of $50 off making $300.99 plus tax.


                              So what do you guys think about these phones? The Samsung is a new phone for metroPCS as I am writing this. The LG came out in October of 2011 but with way better features than the Samsung. The price point for the LG is just to much for some consumers but does way better things than the Samsung. The Samsung gets you where you want but does not have the features to even beat the esteem. But pricing for the Samsung is not arguable. That is a good price for its features. Debate against two metroPCS's phones the LG Optimus M and the Huawei M835

    To begin with lets talk about the first phone on the list which is the LG Optimus M/LG-MS690. This low-end android smartphone sports a 3.2 HVGA touch screen with a 3.2 megapixel camera with video capture. It's version of android is Froyo(2.2.1). It has four(4) hardware buttons on the bottom with 150MB of internal memory. A 3.5 mm headset jack for wired headphones. This phone weighs 5.39 OZ. Running with 600MHz of a processor this handset also has a dedicated Camera button. Also this a DivX Compatible Device. It has 7.5 hours of talk time and 337 hours of standby. Right Now the LG Optimus M is currently $149, with an instant rebate of $50 making it $99 with tax.

     The Huawei M835 which is also the Huawei IDEOS on T-mobile sports a 2.8 QVGA touchscreen. It also comes with the android version Froyo(2.2). The M835 has DTS Envelo Technology. This technology digitally upgrades the sound of M835 to virtual surround sound system in your headphones and in the speaker of the phone. A 3.5 mm headset jack for wired headphones. It has 4.0 hours of talk time and 200 hours of standby time. This phone has a single core processor with capacitive touch menus keys on the bessel of the phone that run below the screen. Because of the M385 small touch screen words are hard to see and everyday use may be a hassle which such a small screen. This phone does not have a dedicated camera button which most consumers like if they want to snap a quick picture. This phone weighs 3.88 OZ. Huawei has been making phones for metroPCS for some time now but there first android phone is not a phone that should be on a line up in my opinion because of its lag processor, as well as this phone when you start loading up the applications the device will run slowly because of the processor it holds. This phone is $129.00 with a $50 instant rebate making $79.00 plus tax.
